We are a large family, made up of old friends and creative partners from Biel. We put all our energy into making sure that you will have an unforgettable stay at the Villa Lindenegg.
At the heart of the Pop-Up Lindenegg lies a creative concept. But the most important for us is to offer our guests some unforgettable moments in truly magical surroundings.
We offer nice and cultivated aperitifs, surprising events and culinary gastro weekends. Villa Lindenegg should remain innovative, original and surprising.
And finally, the house and its surroundings speak for themselves. Our guests should experience unforgettable and relaxed moments at Villa Lindenegg. The Lindenegg pop-up lasts eight months until the end of January 2019.
Scratch specialises in creative event and Pop-Up concepts and is the originator of the whole idea of the Lindenegg Pop-Up Lindenegg. The initiators of Scratch are three entrepreneurs and creative professionals from Biel: Patrick Weiss, Olivier Paratte and Reto Bloesch.
In 2018, they were named Biel’s citizens of the year because of their “First Friday Biel/Bienne” idea, and the implementation of this monthly event. Scratch believes in communication that people can feel and experience, and it creates exceptional concepts.
The Villa Lindenegg is a place for peace and relaxation, right next to the town centre and the old town.
The Villa Lindenegg is right in the middle of the town, and yet far away from all its noise and bustle. Its large garden with ancient trees, flowery meadows, birdsong and a tinkling fountain make it a kind of urban oasis, a place for pleasure. The magnificent building was built at the beginning of the 19th century and it was a family home until 1985. In the mid- ‘80s, the town of Biel bought this historic building and
ran it as the town’s own guest house. Some ten years later, when financial cut-backs were necessary, the town of Biel had to find a new purpose for the building. That is why the Villa Lindenegg has been a restaurant and hotel business since 1996. The Villa Lindenegg will operate as a Pop-Up until it the town completes the renovation of the building in 2019.
